Extractor fan renewed, with new wear plates
We do not simply replace a worn fan with an identical one.
An extractor on a harvester has a hard time. Sand, dust and plant residue scour the blades. After many seasons the fan is worn and out of balance, and then the bearings and the drive are at risk as well. Time for an overhaul!
Above you can see two broken-off blades. They cause imbalance. The solution: replace the entire fan, with new blades.
Rebuilt in our workshop
We rebuilt this fan in our own workshop. The blades were updated and given new wear plates, fastened with bolts. When the plates are worn, you do not just change the plates: that is the moment to take the whole fan out of the machine and overhaul it. Get in touch with us.
Back in the machine
The fan then goes back into the housing of the machine.
